If, like me, you like curling up on a winters day with a hot chocolate and a great, atmospheric whodunit then the Guest List is the book for you. It is written from multiple viewpoints (only 5 so it’s not a cast of thousands) but it isn’t at all confusing. The book is very like a modern take on Agatha Christie. It is set on Cormorant Island during the high profile wedding of Jules and Will – and then the lights go out. That’s all I’m going to tell you about the story because you really should read it and as we are moving into rainy, winter weather it is the perfect time of year to do so.
