This debut novel from Tara June Winch is short but startling and beautifully written story about family, loss and belonging. I’m looking forward to reading ‘The Yield’, her 2020 Miles Franklin award winner.

Media Review – BlacKkKlansman

Directed by Spike Lee

Based on the incredible true story of Ron Stallworth, an African American police officer who somehow infiltrates the Ku Klux Klan by joining the local Colorado chapter in 1978. Directed by Spike Lee and starring John David Washington as Ron Stallworth, the film tackles the intense subject matter head on and ties in a lot of information about past and current injustices and inequalities in the USA. Well worth your time.
